About Us
Artusi la Salsamenteria is a passion that led me to start a selection, lasting over 8 months, over 200 suppliers awarded by national and international critics, combining the experience and the gastronomic paths of Parma and the whole Italy in one place.
The result, the culmination of the meticulous research work of the Bel Paese territorial excellence, is a unique and unobtainable menu of its kind, which can be tasted inside Palazzo Dalla Rosa Prati, among the ancient walls of the 12th-century structure, or on the outside tables a few meters away from the Baptistery and the Cathedral of Parma.
I like to think that my name is not the only thing I share with the esteemed Pellegrino Artusi: as the gastronome described Italian cuisine in his “La scienza in cucina e l’arte di mangiar bene” here too we describe the local productions that make Parma and Italy unique places, where for centuries the secret of drinking and eating well has passed from generation to generation, not in a book but through experience, quality and service.
